Will this work for my condition?

Core Balance Training was specifically designed for chronic lower back pain in all its forms - including conditions most people are told they just have to live with.

Lower Back Pain i When your core is inhibited and posture is out of balance, the lower back is often the first area to tell you, and its message is pain. CBT addresses the source of the problem by reactivating your core to better support your spine, restoring your postural muscles, and retraining your functional movement so the problem doesn't return.
Stenosis i CBT is highly effective at reversing the causes of foraminal/lateral recess stenosis by restoring balance in the specific muscles that pull the spine into a stenotic position. Dr. Ryan suffered from stenosis pain for a decade, and CBT was designed to heal this condition. Many students with central canal stenosis have also reported improvement.
Sciatica i Sciatic leg and foot symptoms are most often caused by a nerve compression in your lower back. CBT goes upstream of these symptoms by teaching you how to decompress your spine with your core engagement and breath, so that the disc or vertebra no longer compresses the nerve.
Scoliosis i The program is designed to address the root causes of pain and postural imbalances, which are often present in people with scoliosis. By targeting the deep core muscles, better support for the spine is created, which can lead to improved posture and a reduction in pain.
SI Joint Pain i Like the lower back, the SI joint becomes strained and inflamed by repetitive stress over time. Certain muscles pull the pelvis out of alignment, putting torque on the SI joint. CBT not only reduces this torque by restoring the length and tension of these muscles, but also stabilizes and reinforces the joint through specific pelvic stability exercises.
Spondylolisthesis i As a former sufferer of this condition, Dr. Ryan designed the program with spondylolisthesis as a top priority. This instability of the spine must be reinforced, ideally without the hardware of a spinal fusion. CBT teaches you how to use your deep core muscles as an internal corset brace (which is their purpose) to stabilize your spine.
Degenerative Disc i Degenerative Disc Disease, or wear and tear on your discs, is accelerated when the core muscles fail to stabilize the spine and maintain its natural curvature. CBT teaches students the 3 Core Anchors to solve this common problem. The anchors provide you with a framework for healthy core engagement, stabilizing and supporting the spine in posture and movement, and diminishing repetitive trauma so the discs can heal.
Herniated/Bulging Discs i CBT reduces the uneven compressive forces on your lumbar discs, which is often what causes discs to herniate. This is done using therapeutic exercise to bring your vertebrae into better alignment for better congruency. Additionally, the core engagement and breathing techniques taught in the program decompress your spine directly, without any tools or machines.
Anterior Pelvic Tilt i Anterior pelvic tilt occurs when the front of the pelvis tilts forward and downward, often due to tight hip flexors and weak abdominal and glute muscles. This posture can exaggerate the lower back’s natural arch, leading to discomfort and even nerve compression. CBT uses foundational exercises like the back anchor awareness, front anchor awareness, and the bridge (performed correctly) are used to encourage a more balanced pelvic position and improve core stability.
Chronic Tightness i Chronic muscle tightness is usually related to postural imbalances and core weakness—common contributors to persistent tightness in the back and surrounding muscles. CBT teaches students the 3 Core Anchors to solve this common problem. The anchors provide you with a framework for healthy core engagement, stabilizing and supporting the spine in posture and movement, and diminishing repetitive trauma so the discs can heal.
Knee & Hip Pain i While the primary focus of CBT is on relieving chronic lower back pain, the program’s holistic approach to movement retraining and deep core strengthening often leads to improvements in other areas, including the hips and knees.

Tried Everything?

Here's why your back pain keeps coming back.

These treatments often focus on symptoms. But if your deep core isn’t stabilizing your spine properly, the pain can keep coming back - which is why a different approach is needed for lasting change.

Here’s What Happens When You Address the Root Cause Not Just Symptoms

When you stop chasing symptoms, a different kind of recovery becomes possible.

Highly recommend

I highly recommend this program!! I had tried multiple physical therapists and chiropractors, which either didn't help at all or didn't provide lasting relief for my back pain. This program boils down to a recovery process for building balanced strength and correct posture. The pace ensures that you learn the basics well and then builds on itself.

Dr. Ryan is a good teacher, super knowledgeable, kind, and chill; he's accessible for direct questions in a weekly livestream; and his staff answers questions online within a day. Excellent access to online professional support when you have questions.

I've learned how to take care of my back so that I can move freely again! What a gift!!

Life-changing!!

I have L4-L5 and L5-S1 disk hernia and have tried all types of exercises, massages, chiropractic work, even personal physical therapy and electotherapy. Maybe it's the place I live, but nothing helped long-term.

I simply needed low-intensity consistent work that Dr. Ryan rightly offers and provides. The minute I saw his content was the same minute I was immediately hooked and knew this is the right thing for me. He goes in detail, everything's explained, and most importantly, has even worst problems than most of us.

So he understands what people need to relieve their back pain and get back to doing the things they love. Thank you, Dr. Ryan, for creating the CBT program and thank you CBT team for always being there for us.

10/10 and immediate relief from day 2! Just remember to follow the program exactly as it's laid out!

Good luck and have a pain-free, happy life 💪

Simple, effective and provides tools to use for a lifetime

This program was incredibly beneficial for me. As a professional athlete, my body takes a beating, and when I started this program in the Spring, I was preparing for my 3rd back surgery. Within a a few weeks of doing the program daily, I felt much better and have been able to postpone the surgery as my pain has significantly improved. The best part about this program is that it can be done in a hotel room, on the floor at an airport gate, or living room. The program is very easy to follow and never pushes anyone to move on until they are ready for the next step. The customer support has been exceptional, and I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a program that can help stabilize their core and back muscles. Can't say enough about how well it worked for me.

A Different Approach Born From Personal Recovery

At age 22, Ryan was told the condition of his spine could put him in a wheelchair by age 30 — a prognosis that fueled his search for a better solution.

After more than a decade of chronic back pain, Dr. Ryan combined his clinical training as a Doctor of Physical Therapy with the principles that restored balance to his own spine to develop Core Balance Training.

What began as a personal recovery became a step-by-step approach designed to address deeper imbalances many traditional treatments miss.

Today, that approach has helped over 50,000 people reduce pain, restore movement, and build lasting resilience.
